SANTEE REAL ESTATE

Santee is an inland city surrounded by hills. Its subdivisions rise with the gentle slopes and the San Diego River flows through the middle. Santee is affordable in price, in part because it is 20 to 25 miles from downtown San Diego. Santee has a country feeling but is arid. The city boasts of well kept neighborhoods and a low crime rate.

Children attend elementary schools in the Santee School District for kindergarten through 8th grade and teens attend high schools within the Grossmont High School District.

In recent years the 52 freeway and the San Diego Trolley have been extended to Santee and the city has built a retail center around Trolley Station in the downtown area which includes a Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Ross, Office Depot, Target and a New City Hall.
